Human Growth Hormone for the masses
An article in The Wall Street Journal, June 1, 2006 states that Sandoz has obtained FDA approval to market its equivalent HGH product. For years Pfizer has been the only US manufacturer of Genotrope (HGH) and its price has been quite prohibative. Sandoz has stated that they will offer their version of HGH at apporximately 25% less than Genotrope.
This should make it more affordable for many people who have considered Growth Hormone therapy as part of an anit-aging regimine.
It should be noted that just 3 weeks earlier an article in a British scientific journal has questioned once again the potential risk of cancer while on HGH. The jury is still out on this issue. No studies to date have documented any risk asociated with its use but we should keep a close eye on this as more studies are ongoing.
